YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Harley-Davidson Motor Co. and The City of York hosted the 21st annual York Bike Night on Friday. The parade starts at the York Expo Center and ends in Downtown York.
Bikers from as far as Canada have traveled to the event. Twenty thousand people are expected to come and enjoy the live music, food, and vendors.
Market Street will be closed from Pershing Avenue to Duke Street. George Street will also be closed from Philadelphia to King Streets.
The president of the York County Harley Davidson Owner’s Association has been involved since the first year and said people look forward to this all year long.
“What excites me the most is running into people I haven’t seen in a while and just getting to touch base with old friends and making new friends,” Jon Golihew, President of York County Harley Davidson Owner’s Association, said.
“When you join a club like this, they don’t just become friends they become family,” Susan Rugh, said.
The parade kicked off at 6 p.m. and is expected to wrap up around 10 p.m. All streets are expected to open shortly after.
