HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Dauphin County authorities have announced charges against six people accused of dealing heroin and other illegal drugs in Lower Paxton Township.
District Attorney Ed Marsico said the arrests were made by the county’s drug task force and township police. He said the arrests show the heroin epidemic is spreading into the suburbs.
“These dealers were operating, not in the City of Harrisburg, but in suburban Lower Paxton Township,” he said. “And it’s important to know that these drugs are insidious. They’re everywhere.”
Nicole Sheetz, 21, of West Hanover Township; Bethany Lepperd, 24, of Susquehanna Township; and Joseph Stark, 20, of Enola, are charged with delivery of heroin.
Sheetz was placed in Dauphin County Prison on $25,000 bail and Stark was released on $10,000 unsecured bail. Lepperd was not in custody.
David A. Roller Jr., 35, of Steelton, is charged with delivery of pills. Joshua Frye, 25, of Lower Paxton Township, is charged with delivery of marijuana, and Amberlee Maben, 24, also of Lower Paxton Township, is charged with delivery of cocaine.
