Lancaster man charged in knife assault at Taco Bell

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster man was arrested after police said he assaulted an employee in a Taco Bell drive-thru.

Bruce W. Gainer, 39, slashed at the employee with a pocket knife and cutting his shirt, Manheim Township police said.

Gainer was arguing with the driver behind him and refused to move his vehicle. employees to ask him to move. He then argued with the employee when that man asked him to move, police said.

The incident occurred early Saturday at the Taco Bell at 1340 Columbia Avenue.

Gainer was charged with simple assault and a 20-year-old passenger in his vehicle was charged with underage drinking.
