York homicide suspect arrested in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A man suspected of fatally shooting a woman in York early Saturday has been arrested in Harrisburg.

Kameron Orr, 24, of York, was taken into custody Wednesday morning in the 2300 block of Green Street, according to U.S. Marshal Martin Pane.

Orr is charged with criminal homicide and related offenses in the killing of 27-year-old Ruby Mercado, who died of multiple gunshot wounds in the 200 block of North Hartley Street.

He also had an active warrant for aggravated assault stemming from an Aug. 1 shooting incident in York.
