WEST YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – The West York Area Middle School was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning because of threatening emails that were sent to a student, police said.
West Manchester Township police said no weapons were found in the school and all students are safe.
They said two juveniles who threatened the student in the emails have been identified and taken into custody. They said the suspects are not students of the West York Area School District.
Police officers were at the middle school and high school as a precaution when classes dismissed in the afternoon.
