Suspect sought after random attack in downtown Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A man is recovering from a broken nose after police say someone punched his face early Friday morning in downtown Harrisburg.

It happened at around 2 a.m. near the 2000 block of South Street.

Police spoke to the victim at the hospital. He told them he was leaving a local bar when someone struck him on the right side of his face, causing him to fall to the ground.

Later that morning, investigators responded to a report of blood found on the 400 block of North Second Street. The blood is believed to be of the victim.

A suspect has not been identified but police say they’re searching for a male.
