Two arrested for home invasion robberies in Lancaster County

LEOLA, Pa. (WHTM) – East Lampeter Township Police arrested two people for home invasion style robberies in Leola.

Police say 38-year-old Paul Sands and 30-year-old Michelle Hesler got into a 75-year-old man’s house through an unlocked door on August 8.

Investigators say they threatened the victim with a baseball bat and demanded money.

Police say they made off with a TV, a phone, and cash.

On August 14, police say Sands and Hesler came back to the house, again threatening the victim and demanding money.

Investigators say the pair stole a new TV the victim had bought to replace the one that was previously stolen.

Sands and Hesler are both charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Both are in the Lancaster County Prison.
