Police ID man killed in Harrisburg overnight shooting

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have identified a man who was shot killed Monday night in Harrisburg. The death marks the city’s 10th homicide of the year.

Investigators say 28-year-old Jose Torro was found lying on the ground on Dean Street, near the 1300 block of Rolleston Street. He had been shot several times.

It happened at about 9:50 Monday night.

Authorities are now searching for a suspect.

Police say the coroner has been called to Rolleston Street in Harrisburg for a police incident.

Police say that there is a deceased individual, but couldn’t release any other information.

An investigation is underway.
