Red Land Little League team advances to regional final

BRISTOL, Conn. (WHTM) – The Red Land Little League team beat a team from New Jersey in the regional semifinals Thursday, putting them one win away from making the Little League World Series.

Cole Wagner hit a two run home run in the first inning, giving Red Land a 2-0 lead.

Ethan Phillips brought in a run and Chayton Krauss hit a two run home run in the third inning.

Phillips hit a grand slam in the sixth inning.

Red Land won the game 13-2.

They’ll face the winner of New Jersey and New York/Maryland at 4 p.m. Sunday.
