Police seek tips in Spring Garden store robbery

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in the armed robbery of a Turkey Hill Minit Market in Spring Garden Township.

Township police released a surveillance photo of the man who pulled a semiautomatic handgun from a blue drawstring backpack after he entered the store at 1338 Mount Rose Avenue around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

He demanded money from the clerk and left the store walking east from the front entrance, police said.

He was described as a Hispanic man in his early 40’s. He had a mullet-style haircut with long, curly hair in the back, a tattoo on the right side of his neck and a sleeve tattoo on his right forearm.

He was wearing a black ball cap with a white NY logo and sticker, a blue/green V-neck shirt, black pants, and work boots, police said.
