Man wanted for trashing East Lampeter home

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say they’re looking for a homeless man who cut a large amount of copper wiring and pipes from a home undergoing renovations in East Lampeter Township.

Andrew D. Reed, 59, also defecated and urinated on newly installed flooring, township police said.

Construction workers said they arrived at the work site in the first block of Harvest Road this morning and found an unknown man inside the home. He told them he had been hired to clean up the site.

He drove away in a 1994 GMC Vandura. Police identified the man as Reed from the van’s license plate.

Reed is wanted on charges of burglary, attempted theft, and criminal mischief. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the police department at 717-291-4676.
