Streets closed after Lancaster RRTA bus crashes into parking garage

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Red Rose Transit Authority bus driver struck at least two cars and the King Street Parking Garage Tuesday afternoon, apparently after suffering some type of medical problem, police said.

The crash occurred at Duke and Vine streets at 4:13 p.m.

Police said the driver went unconscious prior to the crash. The driver was transported to hospital.

No serious injuries to bus passengers or other drivers were reported.

Officers have closed Duke Street south of King, and Vine Street between Queen and Lime. One police official told ABC 27 News the area could be closed to traffic for hours.
