After a nice weekend across Central PA, temperatures climb into the lower 90s today with more sunshine. A frontal system will move through the state tonight bringing with it the chance for a few thunderstorms after 3PM this afternoon. Storms will likely become more widespread later this evening and overnight. While these storms will be fairly isolated later today, keep an eye on the sky (and download our weather app!) because some of them could become feisty. Main threats include damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, and large hail. Tomorrow and most of Wednesday will be dry before waves of low pressure arrive later in the week. A front looks to move through Thursday with some stray thunderstorms possible during the afternoon. As more clouds move into the region, temperatures will be held in check with highs only in the 70s through Friday. Another wave of low pressure could move north along a stalled boundary for Friday bringing an overcast and showery end to the week. This forecast is still very much in question right now with lots of disagreement in the guidance. We’ll keep you posted. Everything shifts southward thanks to a dip in the jetstream for next weekend. This means it looks mainly sunny and dry by next Saturday and Sunday!
