GAP, Pa. (WHTM) – A man didn’t get far after he pulled a gun on a Lancaster County home owner.
State police said they arrested 27-year-old Jonathan Bissinger a short distance from the Salisbury Township home – where his car became disabled in a culvert as he fled.
Bissinger, of Delaware County, is charged with robbery, burglary, criminal trespass, and terroristic threats stemming from an incident Monday afternoon in the 5500 block of Lincoln Highway.
The home owner told police he saw a tan sedan backed up to his barn, and when he investigated he saw Bissinger attempting to steal from him. He said Bissinger displayed a gun, so he walked out of the barn and called police.
Bissinger was jailed in Lancaster County Prison on $250,000 bail.
The robbery was the second in the township in two days. On Sunday, police said three men tried to rob three woman inside their home in the 600 block of Churchtown Road.
