HALIFAX, Pa. (WHTM) – Afternoon commuters should expect delays when work resumes on Route 225 over Peters Mountain on Tuesday.
The roadway will be reduced to a single lane and flaggers will guide drivers through the work zone from 8:30 a.m. to the early evening, according to a PennDOT news release.
Workers will repair and resurface nearly six miles of Route 225 between Route 325 in Middle Paxton Township and Route 147 in Halifax Township. Base repair will be underway for roughly the next four weeks, followed by several weeks of paving.
The $4 million project is scheduled to be finished by late October.
