HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A city man wanted for fatally shooting another man during an argument early Sunday has been arrested in North Carolina.
Shawn Walker was taken into custody Monday by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Walker, 49, is charged with criminal homicide and gun crimes in the killing of 44-year-old Eric Rivers at a home in the 400 block of Crescent Street.
Police said an argument between Walker’s family and Rivers escalated before Walker shot Rivers on a porch at around 1:23 a.m.
Walker has been turned over to North Carolina authorities pending his extradition to Dauphin County.
