Harrisburg First Assembly of God is hosting a Faith Into Action Youth Conference & Family Festival.
About 90 teenagers & staff from seven churches in Harrisburg, Pittsburgh and Colorado will perform community service across the Harrisburg Area. This is a seven-day outreach to Harrisburg City during which youth will clean the streets, work at a women’s shelter, volunteer with Caitlin’s Smiles and help at a local school.
In the afternoons, the group will hand out 10,000 cans of soda and invite the public to a “Family Festival.” The Family Festival is Saturday, July 18 from 12pm-4pm at Marshall School. abc27 News’ James Crummel will perform the role of emcee.
Also during this week, evangelist Jonathan Shuttlesworth will hold services at Harrisburg First at 12pm & 7pm. All services are open to the public.
The event wraps up with a Friend & Family day at Harrisburg First on Sunday, July 19 with services at 8:30 or 10:30am service.
