Brothers wanted in Mechanicsburg home invasion, robbery

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are looking for two brothers wanted in a home invasion and robbery last month.

Dontae Hobbs, 24, of Harrisburg, and Joseph Hobbs, 18, of Mechanicsburg, have been identified as suspects in a June 17 incident in the 400 block of S. Market Street, police said.

The victim told officers that three men tried to rob him inside his apartment. One of the intruders threatened the victim and other people with a gun, police said.

The three intruders fled the apartment after a fight broke out between one of the victims and the robber with the gun.

Police said Dontae and Joseph Hobbs may be armed and should be considered dangerous.
