Police investigate homicide in Harrisburg

Shawn Walker: Wanted

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – UPDATE: Shawn Walker has been identified as the shooter in the Harrisburg homicide.

Walker fled from the City in a white Chevy Malibu.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

July 12, 2015 7:01 a.m. – At 1:23 a.m. Sunday morning, Harrisburg police responded to the scene of a shooting.

They found Eric Rivers shot on the porch of a house.

Officers performed CPR on Rivers until EMS were able to relieve them and pronounced Rivers dead.

The homicide occurred on the 400 block of Crescent Street.

The investigation is ongoing.
