WEST PENNSBORO, Pa. (WHTM) – State police are investigating two reports of counterfeit at a Pennsylvania Turnpike plaza.
Investigators say it happened at the Cumberland Valley Service Plaza in West Pennsboro Township on July 2.
The first incident took place at the plaza’s Starbuck sometime between 7 a.m and 3 p.m. A manager noticed a counterfeit $10 bill during a money count, police said.
A second incident occurred around 11:25 a.m. at the Auntie Anne’s. A counterfeit $100 bill was used to buy a t-shirt, police said.
Police believe a male suspect was involved in both incidents.
