Lawmakers are expected to take another crack at forming a state budget Monday.
Last Tuesday, Governor Wolf vetoed the entire budget proposal.
On Wednesday, legislative leaders met with Wolf and his budget secretary, Randy Albright.
Wolf said both sides would have to work through their differences but according to the House appropriations chair, Representative William Adolph, they are not close to an agreement.
Republicans say Wolf wants to raise too many taxes.
While Democrats worry the Republican budget proposal doesn’t spend enough on education and adds to the state’s deficit.
