LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police in Lancaster have arrested two men in connection to a robbery at a Turkey Hill early Friday.
Investigators said it happened around 2 a.m.
Zachery T. Frey, 23, went into the Turkey Hill on Centerville Road, displayed a handgun and demanded money and cigarettes, police said.
Just before 2:30 a.m., police arrested Frey after observing him run into the Getty Mart on George Street.
A black plastic pellet gun was recovered.
Investigators determined Frey had fled the Turkey Hill robbery in a Ford F150 driven by Kyle J. Gerlitzki, 21.
Police noticed Gerlitzki drive by in the vehicle during the investigation. He was arrested shortly after by a nearby officer.
Frey and Gerlitzki admitted to their involvement in the robbery at Turkey Hill, police said.
Frey is charged with robbery and criminal conspiracy. Gerlitzki is charged with criminal conspiracy.
Both are awaiting arraignment.
