Harrisburg man charged with DUI on bike

LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) – A Harrisburg man struck by a vehicle while riding his bike is being charged for drunk driving.

Police responded to the 800-block of Market in Lemoyne for a report of a bicyclist struck by a SUV.

Upon arriving, officers found Jeremiah Wilson face down on the roadway.

According to a witness, Wilson was very unsteady on his bike and road into oncoming traffic.

Officers determined Wilson was under the influence of alcohol.

He was treated for injuries at Hershey Medical Center.

Wilson is charged with DUI. He is currently detained due to being on probation.
