Ephrata man charged for string of burglaries

EPHRATA, Pa. – An Ephrata man was arrested following an investigation into a series of burglaries.

David Michael Wood, 28, is accused of using a sling shot and BBs to break into local businesses in Ephrata, beginning in May.

According to investigators, Wood broke into the APR Supply, The Zimmerman Group, Zimmerman Excavating, and New Life Fellowship Church. In all of the burglaries, Wood stole cash.

Wood is charged with four counts of burglary and two counts of criminal mischief.

He is currently in Lancaster County Prison on a state parole violation.
