Police: Lancaster shooting not a random attack

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A shooting that injured a city woman over the weekend apparently was not a random attack, according to police.

Police said the 25-year-old woman and the suspect are known to each other.

The suspect has not been identified and was not in custody Monday morning.

The woman was treated at Lancaster General Hospital after she was shot outside Hoffman Terrace, off the 200 block of West Mifflin Street, just after 10 p.m. Saturday.
