GM Nationals comes to Carlisle, Pennsylvania

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – The Carlisle Fairgrounds will be filled with a diverse group of general motor vehicles, rain or shine.

Home to a diverse group of General Motors vehicles, from vintage muscle to the modern 5th Generation Camaro, this is the place to be each June. Organized by year, make and model, the National Parts Depot show field is home to a wide array of classic and modern GM products.

Buckle up for autocross action, indoor displays of concepts, customs, performance and historic vehicles, industry guests, activities for the kids and special prizes throughout the weekend. You will also find an unbelievable variety of vendors, an all-GM car corral, and the Manufacturers Midway vending area.

One of the specials guests that will be making an appearance this weekend is Batman and the Batmobile.  Batman, played by Newark, New Jersey police Detective Genaro Ortiz Jr., will make an appearance with his Batmobile, a modified 5th Generation SLP Camaro. Even though he may not be the real Batman, Ortiz is a 23-year veteran police officer who is a rael life hero to children.
