Coroner IDs body recovered from Susquehanna River

WASHINGTON BORO, Pa. (WHTM) – A body recovered from the Susquehanna River on Thursday is that of a Lancaster man, according to the county coroner.

Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni identified the man Friday as 51-year-old Philippe DeRosier.

An autopsy did not immediately determine the cause of death. Diamantoni said he’s waiting for toxicology tests, which should take about 6-8 weeks.

The body was found Thursday morning near the Blue Rock river access in Manor Township, just south of Washington Boro.
