A Cumberland County homeowner woke up suddenly after a car slammed into his family’s home.
The car hit the front of the home along the 1700 block of South York Road in Upper Allen Township around 2 a.m. Friday.
The impact did cause some damage to the home and the car had to be towed from the scene.
“It’s something I’ve been paranoid about since we moved here, being on the corner,” homeowner Dustin Steel said. “With it being wet out tonight I knew right away what it was. It is just not fun.”
It’s not clear if the driver of the car was injured.
