HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are investigating the death of a man who was struck and killed Friday while crossing Cameron Street in Harrisburg.
According to investigators, 37-year-old Jason Burk died as result of the injuries suffered in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle involved is cooperating with police.
This incident marks the second pedestrian crash in the area within three weeks. Last month, another man was hit while crossing Cameron Street. That person was in critical condition but has since recovered.
Next month, road crews will start to improve crosswalk markings along Cameron Street.
