Route 581 lane restrictions expected to be lifted Sunday night

A section of lane closures have been lifted on Route 581 in Cumberland County.

According to PennDOT, the westbound lane restriction has been lifted. The eastbound lanes are expected to open Sunday night at 11.

A section of Route 581 in Cumberland County was closed over the weekend as crews worked to replace the 10th Street bridge in Lemoyne.

PennDot is reminding drivers that the work is not yet complete. Roads will have about an inch drop.

The project is expected to be completed in a few weeks.
