A Lancaster County teen who was critically injured in a hit-and-run last month is making significant improvements. Ryan Sherman is reportedly moving to a rehab facility Thursday.
Sherman, 15, was skateboarding on West Main Street in New Holland two weeks ago when a car hit him and the driver took off.
Sherman’s leg was broken. He also suffered significant head injuries and was in a coma.
According to his GoFundMe page, Sherman is sitting up, eating and speaking a little, and will be moving to rehab.
Joshua Padilla-Gonzalez, 20, has been charged in the crash. Police said he was driving with a suspended license.
