Franklin County fire destroys barn

ST. THOMAS, Pa (WHTM) — A massive fire destroyed a barn in Franklin County Wednesday night.

The blaze started at about 8:30 p.m. on Edenville-Cheesetown Road in St. Thomas Township. Officials said the barn was filled with hay.

Between 50 to 60 firefighters were at the scene, along with tankers from Adams, Cumberland and Fulton Counties. Crews from Washington County in Maryland also responded.

At last check, no injuries were reported. The cause is still under investigation.
