WELLSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a woman shot and killed along with a friend by her estranged husband who then killed himself had moved out but apparently returned to pick up some belongings.
Police in York County said troopers responding to reports of a shooting Friday night in Warrington Township found the bodies of 54-year-old Laurie Kepner of West Manchester Township and 55-year-old Barbara Schrum of Dover.
Both had been shot, and authorities said 60-year-old Martin Kepner was also found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Coroner Pam Gay said her office was told that Laurie Kepner had left the home in December but came back “to get a few things.”
Gay said this is the county’s fourth domestic murder-suicide or attempt in about a month.
State Police are investigating a double murder-suicide in York County.
Investigators said a man shot and killed two women Friday just before 8 p.m. along the 1600 block of Lisburn Road in Warrington Township. The man then killed himself.
State Police said their deaths stem from a domestic situation.
The names of the victims have not been released.
