NORTH YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A shooting incident that injured a 43-year-old man early Sunday was not a random crime, police said.
Northern York County Regional police said it appears the home in the 700 block of North George Street was targeted.
The unnamed victim was found on the second floor after officers responded to a report of shots fired around 3:44 a.m. Police said a rear door had been forced open and there were shell casings on the rear porch.
The victim was transported to York Hospital for treatment of at least one gunshot wound.
Police have made no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
