HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A city man wanted for a fatal shooting outside an after-hours club this month has been arrested in Maryland.

John McDonald III, 22, was taken into custody Tuesday in Baltimore, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshal’s Service. He has been turned over to Maryland authorities pending his extradition to Dauphin County.

McDonald is charged with criminal homicide in the May 9 killing of 22-year-old Todd Dunlap outside the Forever Nights club in the 500 block of South 19th Street.

Police said Dunlap, a father of eight, was struck in the head with a handgun and fatally shot during an argument.
