East Lampeter store robbed at knifepoint

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are looking for the man who used a knife to rob a convenience store in East Lampeter Township.

The unknown man displayed the knife to a female clerk and took off with money and a carton of cigarettes from the Speedway store at 5 Hartman Bridge Road just before it closed at 11 p.m. Monday, township police said in a news release.

He then fled on foot in the direction of the Steamboat Inn.

The female clerk was not injured.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect, who is said to have multiple tattoos on both forearms.
