Dauphin County Courthouse evacuated for gun report

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – The Dauphin County Courthouse was evacuated for about two hours Monday morning after someone reported that they thought they saw a gun.

County spokeswoman Amy Richards Harinath said the courthouse was evacuated at around 9:30 a.m. and searched with the help of a bomb-sniffing dog.

After nothing suspicious was found, staff and visitors were allowed to return to the building around 11:30 a.m.
