DA’s son gets probation in Shippensburg assault case

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – The eldest son of Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico was sentenced to two years probation Monday after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit simple assault.

Connor E. Marsico, 19, must also complete 40 hours of community service.

Marsico and another man, 20-year-old Kenneth J. Brown II of Ardmore, were charged in connection to a February 2014 robbery and assault of a 21-year-old man in Shippensburg.

Brown pleaded no contest to robbery in February and was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison.

Marsico and Brown were students at Millersville University. Both were expelled.
