2 get prison for heroin overdose death

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Two Cumberland County men have pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the heroin overdose death of a Silver Spring Township man last year.

Alec K. Laessig, 24, of Camp Hill, was sentenced Monday to five-and-a-half to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to drug delivery resulting in death. David Koker, 21, of Dillsburg, was sentenced to seven-and-a-half to 15 years after pleading guilty to possession with intent to deliver, according to court records.

All other charges were dismissed.

The two were charged with delivering heroin to a 21-year-old man who died in February 2014 at his parents’ home in the 1100 block of W. Trindle Road.
