LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) – Cars and trucks driving on Herman Avenue in Lemoyne have been kicking up dust and rocks because of an unfinished road project.
The borough began spraying the road with water to keep the dust down. Thursday night, council members heard concerns from residents who live along that stretch of road.
Matthew Riddle moved into the neighborhood last year and says had he known this problem was going to take place, he would not have bought a home on Herman Avenue.
“Dents on our car and our daughter can’t enjoy her house,” Riddle said. “And our dogs are getting poisoned every day. It is just ridiculous.”
Council members are recommending that a meeting take place with the contractor and residents so questions can be answered.
Borough officials said the contractor promised to pave the road by the end of the month to eliminate the dust and rock problem.
