Harrisburg man facing homicide charge after shooting victim, 17, dies

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A teenager who was shot inside a city home this week has died.

Amon Corsa-Romain, 17, died from his injuries at a hospital Thursday, Harrisburg police said in a news release.

The man accused of shooting him, 19-year-old Kenneth Hunter, will be charged with criminal homicide, police said.

Hunter had been charged with aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, and a firearms offense. He is accused of shooting the teen in the face with a .45 caliber handgun early Wednesday at a home in the 1900 block of Kensington Street.

Officers found the victim in a bedroom after they responded to the home at around 2:45 a.m.
