Robber held up Lebanon thrift store

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – A man claimed he had a gun but did not show one when he robbed a thrift store Thursday afternoon, city police said.

A clerk at the Family Dollar, at 306 Cumberland Street, told officers the man approached her at the checkout and demanded money. She said he fled west on Cumberland after she handed over some cash, according to a police news release.

She described the robber as thin and wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Police said he was last seen running west in the area of Sixth and Willow streets.
