RED LION, Pa. (WHTM) – A group of wounded soldiers are proving that “life without a limb is limitless.”
They’re part of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball team, a band of brothers made up of veterans and active duty soldiers who’ve lost limbs post 9/11.
“You can overcome anything. I mean you see guys here missing two legs. Missing arms. There’s no excuses. You can adapt and overcome anything that you put your mind and soul into, ” said Dan Lasko, a player who lost his leg in Afghanistan due to a roadside bomb.
The Wounded Warriors played a doubleheader Saturday at Red Lion High School in York County.
