LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say there was no criminal intent in an incident Tuesday evening involving a 10-year-old girl.
Investigators have identified the driver of the car reported by the child.
He told officers he slowed down when he saw the girl crossing Walton Street at Old Cumberland streets and tried to motion for her to cross in front of him, police said in a news release.
Police were investigating because the girl told officers a passenger had appeared to wave her to the car.
She said no words were exchanged as she ignored them and walked away.
