Heroin operation found in York home, police say

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Two people were arrested after police said they turned the basement of their York home into a heroin packaging station.

City police said they searched the home at 541 W. Clarke Avenue on Thursday and seized $17,000 worth of raw heroin, $6,860 in packaged heroin, $1,000 in powder cocaine, $500 in crack cocaine and $3,807 in U.S. currency.

Officers additionally seized five handguns and ammunition, digital scales, heroin cutting material, packaging bags, and grinders.

The residents, 29-year-old Nassior Bryant 27-year-old and Skyeler Winston, were charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, felons not to possess a firearm, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
