Harrisburg row home fire under investigation

The fire marshal is investigating a two-alarm blaze in Harrisburg.

It started shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday at a row home on the 400 block of South 14th Street.  The fire chief said there was no one inside when the fire started.

“The cause if still undetermined at this time…under investigation,” Chief Brian Enterline said. “We do know it was a vacant house. It’s been vacant for about a year. However, we do know that there’s been people in and out and staying in the property.”

A home next door was damaged in the fire. Several people who live at that house are being helped by the American Red Cross.
