Police investigate Carlisle shootings, 2 hurt

CARLISLE, Pa.–(WHTM) Police are investigating two shootings that sent two people to the hospital.

Dispatchers said the first shooting happened along the 100 block of North Pitt Street around 2 a.m. Sunday. A 28-year-old man was shot by an unknown person around 2:00 AM. He was flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

The second shooting happened along the 300 block of North Hanover Street at 4:32 a.m. Dispatchers said the 28-year-old woman was transported to Hershey Medical Center.

Both victims’ injuries are reportedly non-life threatening. It is not clear if the two shootings are connected.
