HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — The Pride of the Susquehanna is set to launch Thursday morning.
The original launch for the riverboat was Wednesday, April 8. It was delayed because of the weather. River levels were too high.
The Pride of the Susquehanna is one of the only six remaining riverboats in the country to exclusively use paddle wheels for propulsion.
Tanks and National Guard members will move the riverboat back into the water Thursday at 9 a.m. at the south end of City Island. The launch is open to the public.
