A preliminary hearing scheduled for Thursday has been postponed for a Lancaster mother who is facing several charges after her baby ingested cocaine.
The preliminary hearing is now scheduled for April 29.
Tanya Madden is currently being held in the Lancaster County Prison on $250,000 bail. Police said her six-month-old son was treated last month for having cocaine in his system.
Police said they found a plastic bag with cocaine residue in Madden’s home. Police said a medical expert determined the infant did not ingest the cocaine accidentally.
The boy is recovering after suffering from seizures and high blood pressure.
