Man steals $570 worth of lottery tickets from Dauphin County store

State Police are trying to identify the man who they say stole hundreds of dollars worth of lottery tickets.

On January 21 at 1:30 a.m. police say a black male, approximately 5’8” and 155 pounds entered the Turkey Hill on State Route 22 in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County and began talking to an employee. theft

The suspect was wearing a black and white POLICE ball cap and is described as being 25-40 years old.

When the employee walked out of the store to smoke a cigarette, the suspect reportedly reached over the counter and stole $570 worth of lottery tickets. Police say the suspect then walked to the bathroom and stuffed the stolen tickets into his jacket and left the store.

State Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact them at 717-671-7500 and reference incident number H01-2358501.
